The album “When Forests Dream” contains 8 relatively short tracks, lasting between nearly 3 and 9 minutes and phenomenally mixed by Ferran Conangla. Each of them is very distinct, both in the techniques used and in the generated sound palette. Each of them is a masterpiece of the free improvised music in general, and prepared piano music in particular.
What one has here is so beautiful, so absorbing in terms of changing moods and spirits, so colourful in terms of changing techniques and approaches, so abstract and open, and lyrical at the same time. It is hard to believe that such a thing was created.
This album is a must purchase for lovers of contemporary music.
